History of Mansfield Swimming Club

The club was formed in 1904 at Mansfield Central Baths on Bath Street, Mansfield. At this time training took place. The first gala Mansfield Swimming club took part in was in 1907.

Mansfield Central Baths was home to Mansfield Swimming club until 1991 when Mansfield District Council built a modern leisure pool complex now known as Water Meadows, with its leisure pool, wave machine and flumes and its 25 metre competition pool and teaching pool.
